Farewell Science Methods

In the beginning of this course I remember feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what was to come. Slowly the course unwound itself and I was able to make sense of our experiences. Although I was hesitant about keeping a blog, and doing it correctly, I think keeping a blog helped me organize my thoughts throughout the semester and think critically about readings and other resources. While I would like a redo on the fieldwork experience I do think it was helpful to have the experience of creating a direct instruction and an inquiry lesson. This course helped me solidify the difference between the two and I feel a little more comfortable developing each of these types of lessons. I found out about myself that I am drawn to inquiry based lessons, I think I would have appreciated more inquiry based lessons when I was in school, and I had a lot of fun coming up with the idea and resources for my inquiry lesson.
